Tidal ebb and flow
Caressing, enveloping
Always waiting patiently

Twinkling in starlight
Emblazoned in sunlight
Waves gently touch shore
Receding with a sigh

Driftwood deposited
Gifts washed ashore
A heartfelt thank you
For when you are there
