Mirrored images of desire

Shadows whisper passions
Freed in momentary daydreams
Locked in darkness
Muted by hesitation

Moments of indecision
Fear and doubt combine
Feeding a hunger unsated
As loneliness takes hold

Inward reflections recede
Decisions made
Chances taken
A leap into the abyss

Thoughts reflect clarity
Memories fuel desires
Passions merge, coalesce
A mirror of inner reality
