Cecil Court in London has a long and illustrious history. It was once home to the early film industry – nicknamed Flicker Alley. Providing shop front premises for many important early film pioneers. Today it is home to mostly Antiquarian Booksellers.
I took this photo when I visited Cecil Court on 09 May 2014.
This is my Haiku homage to this magical place…
There once was silence
Nitrate flickered to times changed
Lights dimmed, words remain
