First the picture, then the Haiku then a poem:
On her winged horse
Searching for freedom and hope
Lost forever more
Evermore
Searching for freedom and hope
Stripped of the past and exposed
Reaching the end, unable to cope
All avenues except escape closed
Take flight on your winged horse
Shedding your shackles and soar
Fly high in the clouds on course
Hold on tight, ready to explore
Possibilities glimpsed passing by
Blurred images through the mist
Fears well up, never knowing why
Or the happiness you have missed
From experience lessons learned
New thoughts you cannot ignore
Out of the darkness hard earned
Or be lost in the clouds evermore

Those poems could have been written for characters in my series. Would you mind if I reblogged this post? I like the idea of ideas linking up like this.

I have just discovered Shawn’s blog, and felt a little shiver of excitement when I read this post. Anyone who has read The Green Woman stories will know why.
